TWITTER: WTH IS GOING ON ??

Hi guys , I am back as promised albeit late but please do not be angry (although i have been accosted by some on twitter #ykys) .This is me turning a new leaf.
Yes I know this blog is supposed to be about me and my Fabulous reality-show material life *straight face* ,but I shall digress a bit on this post. Sorry guys , I know we all want to hear about Funbi's life *flips hair * but allow me to talk about twitter for a minute.just a minute .(or more) .*batting eyelashes*




The image above captures what some tweeps  exhibit . I mean really a lot of people want to become popular on twitter with a truck load of followers but at what cost? really should we sacrifice common sense so we can hit 100k followers? . I know if you are not a real life celebrity or public figure you have to earn followers but why for heaven's sake would you choose stupidity as the tool to use in order to  gain popularity on a social network.
Some say they are not their tweets but unless you steal someone else's tweets or assign a ghost to tweet for you , you are up to an extent your tweets!
Apart from posting daft  tweets ,sending nudes seem to be the new cool ,ladies please if you feel the need to show someone your  naked body ,stand in front of the mirror naked and look at your reflection!some tweets we post and some comments we make actually hurt  people's feelings . and its all fun and games till someone commits suicide .
Lets say for instance ,you do not care what anyone thinks ,you should at least care about your future employers no? in case some of u didn't know ,employers actually do background checks before hiring and guess what they check twitter too ! so before you  type that silly ass tweet please let us pause and ask 'is this 'mumu-ness' I am about to post  really worth it' .

    Hehehe...nice post...and yes it's your life we came here for(not the fabulous part though :-P)

    I just believe those using nude pics and lists for cyber-bullying are definitely jobless and lack ambition. It's high-time someone commits suicide, probably that would bring in some sanity.. employers investigating applicants on the net is now standard procedure...lets hope they get smart :-)

    We truly live in the Age of Smart Phones and Dumb People. Concise Post. Still waiting for the juicy, alternate reality writes though. :-)

    Am reading this post just after the week of nasty trending topics! Its sad that some ppl tweet mumu-sense and claim they are different in real life!!! Help ‎me o!!! Is it their alter ego that does the tweeting?
